About Baillie

Based out of Augusta, Georgia, Baillie Conway’s work often embraces quintessential Southern small-town imagery as a means of showcasing the rural and economic landscapes which surround him. Often depicting dilapidated structures and abandoned agricultural buildings, Baillie’s work examines America’s transition from an industrial to service-based economy and its impact on towns and cities across the Southeast. His drawing style involves merging a mixture of both digital drawing and traditional analog drawing techniques together.

Baillie is most notably known for his passion project The Adventures of Legoman, an ongoing photography series following the adventures of a small, plastic figure named Legoman. From the Acropolis of Athens, Greece to the sunny beaches of Belize, this miniature figure has been photographed in unique settings all around the country and the world over the past five years.
